    "feel" or think

I also would like to find a therapist would understands what I am saying a closely as you seem to. MOST LIKELY I express myself SOOOO much better when sitting in my solitude at this PC, having time to comtemplate my words.

Dr. Alexander Lowen's explaination of self-expression and creativity resonates very strongly with me. He originated Bioenergetics, but I have yet been able to convert my concepts of psychotherapy to the concept of bending over backward on a stool for breathing exercises and how THAT is going to help.

Altho my present therapist doesn't meet my preferences, she is the FIRST to - I "think" - address the core problem: accessing my feelings; end-running the depression. IF Bioenergetics can do that for me, I will stand on my head and whistle "Dixie." If not, I hope I will have the will to continue to search for alternative treatments.

Thanks... I will check out the web site on schematherapy. Haven't come across that before. Also, thanks to whomever recommended "Becoming Attached:...", I will check into it, it sounds very appropriate.
