I have used bioenergetics in my therapy and have yet to bend over a stool. There is more to it than that. There is very little on the net though, seems to be difficult to find a lot of good information on bioenergetics other than the same stuff over and over again. I have found the combination of bioenergetics with emdr to be helpful. Plus some ego-state work is done with this. So, for me, I have not been limited to one approach and I find that has been very helpful. It hasn't been easy and it has been time consuming. However, it has been working. Mind you I wanted to give up a nice few times on all of it.
