    Interesting point. The “state” you say you’ve been “trapped” in appears to be some sort of hallucinated and/or dream state, perhaps some sort of paralysis, perhaps due to some sort of problem in the fear or anxiety neural circuitry and/or neurochemical problems. Certainly I agree that people do in fact experience such things. On occasion I’ve dreamed I could fly, but more often, unfortunately, I dream I can’t get away from some danger, which often seems to be indicative of some sort of stress being experienced in my life and a corresponding inadequate supply of neuromodulators. Have you tried an SSRI?
