Re:dealing with fallout from emdr session

Karen,

I've had some difficult times after EMDR but does not seem as severe as your experience. I have the tendency to dissociate but am not DID.

I have a question/concern. You say that you are a therapist who does EMDR. I am surprised that you never experienced EMDR in your training and, as well, have questions about reactions that I thought was learned about in training. I know that my therapist has actually gone through EMDR during training had the experience of it. So, I am wondering just what your training was with EMDR?
