    Karen, have you done some of the ego state work? How did you find it? Was/is it more helpful than the emdr? I had to back off from the emdr, well more or less. Therapist felt some work with ego states was needed along with other techniques. I didn't see it as that important but I knew that I was having some reactions with emdr which supported what the therapist was saying/suggesting. For me, now that some progress has been made through ego state work, I feel that I've made more progress than if I had done more emdr. EMDR is still in the picture, did a session of it a little while ago, followed by some ego state sessions and expect that will soon do some more EMDR.

    Just wondering what your experience has been as a client and as a therapist too would be helpful
