I'm curious, if I may. Did you use EMDR in order to integrate? I thought once one was one, per se, then all is known. I thought that was the purpose of EMDR. To allow parts to process so the person in front, per se, can eventually process, then the parts and all can be whole, integrated? It seems by your experience, this is not the case, or am I not comprehending your words accurately? I'm interested in how you integrated, was EMDR used, or was it natural--an over time type event? I'm on that road, or I'm trying to be, still dealing with the "knowing" at this point, but some thoughts of integration. So I'm curious if EMDR was used for your integration or was there something else? My understanding is that integration is rather quick and natural with the use of EMDR, once the client is at that point? Appreciate your thoughts and time.
