    Your description sounds more like myself, I don't use the term alters as I associate that with DID as in the more severe level with completely separate personalities. I have ego states and I am aware of them, or, at least I am now. They were there all along, I just never defined them as such. Now that I have had the opportunity to do the ego state work I am more aware of these different ego states and how they have beem impacting me. I've never lost time or any of the things associated with the more severe level of DID.

    Anyway, Karen, thanks so much for sharing and for being willing to answer my questions. It is good to do that and I am glad this forum allows for it.
