Re:Integration of alters when working with EMDR

Dr Inobe,

You have repeatedly mentioned that emdr removes dissociative barriers. So how is an integration in one client a new or important piece of information?

Isn't this what we should all expect from well done emdr/talk therapy? Wasn't it said earlier that emdr is "naturally" integrative?

I apologize is this is sophmoric, but I didn't understand your response. I saw nothing different in this client's experience than in the experience of many client's who have posted here.

What is it that you perceived that made this "special"?
