    Intellectualizing vs Being Intellectual
    by Ed Riemann, 3/8/97

c.h. How ya doing? From my understanding of intellectualization it is a reaction formation which prevents or mediates against true understanding (a barrier). On the other hand, being intellectual is the application of cognition toward phenomena in order to better understand the in itself. I personally feel that the application of the intellect toward the better understanding of human condition (in all its ramifications) is, in fact, the highest level of persuit we can aspire to under God (the Great Spirit).........see ya..........Ed
