    Jon,...I agree with you about 99.9%. I think my postings indicate this. However, I see the affective/cognitive components as a "duality' rather than a dichotomy. Dichotomy implies a split of two mutually exclusive components whereas duality suggests two components that exist on the same playing field, so to speak. I know this sounds rather "picky" but we are making a lot of very fine distinctions already when we try to analyze the difference between two aspects that exist within one component (the affect/cognitive within the consciousness). .......Ed
