In my experiences body sensations can be related to different ego states, or they can be sensations that were present at the time of the trauma being targetted.

Many times they may dissipate on their own. Other times it can be useful to do some kind of interweave.

I don't know if this also would feel uncomfortable for you, but what I sometimes do is suggest that the client talk to the sensation - I may phrase it in terms of a part, or may not. I personally don't tend to ask to talk to that part so much as have the client dialogue with it. Sometimes clients appear to, silently, and it shifts, and sometimes clients reject the suggestion and do their own thing and it often shifts then too :)

I use energy psychology approaches as well, so if the sensation is persistent or uncomfortable, I may suggest that the client hold the relevant meridian points.

If you have nausea during EMDR that isn't shifting, you can try holding the under eye area, which corresponds with the stomach meridian. it may help to released any blocked energy there, and get things moving along without the nausea.
