Re:More conclusions from the new EMDR meta-analysis

I request that you do not extrapolate beyond what I have said or distort my meaning. I specifically said that I have not had the opportunity to read the Davidson article and I am not therefore commenting on it until I do. I WAS, however, commenting on other research as well as my decade of experience, and that of other EMDR clinicans. When I have had an opportunity to read the Davidson article, at that time I may comment on it.

Readers, please review the prior discussions on this forum and its archives for the full context of the Devilly & Spence article, which has been discussed here at length. The Davidson article will be responded to here by myself or others.

Writer, you are welcome to post here and discuss the research. However, it is not for you to give direction on how or when the moderator of this forum says or does her work. Be advised that if you continue in that vein, or engage in personal attacks, your otherwise welcome comments will be deleted by myself or the moderator acting in my stead.

Readers, when I am offline in the next weeks for personal reasons, other moderators will take my place.
