Privacy is a legitimate reason for the lay public, but not for professionals. We are all licensed mental health professionals (or are we?) We are bound by ethical codes. We can't attack colleagues without standing with our name, credentials and license showing. If one goes to a conference, you can't just lob a verbal grenade into the speaker's talk without wearing a name tag, and being registered in the symposium. In a journal, we can't write anonymous letters to the editor, or publish anonymously. So "privacy privacy privacy" doesn't cut it here. I invite critics to speak but have the courage of your convictions -- to stand with you name known. Sandra Paulsen Inobe, PhD
