We designed this forum so that people would be able to discuss anything that related to human emotion, and your post is exactly the kind of material we hope will appear here. David Moore is indeed a member of the Tomkins Institute, and gave a rousing presentation of his new work at our yearly colloquium last October. The Family Group Conference model his group established for the resolution of criminal action has been advanced to Transformative Justice Australia (TJA) and now TJAmerica, organizations that work to provide similar conferences for crimes or bad vibes in the workplace. Along with other stuff you get for being a new member of the SSTI will come the issue of our journal that I'm now proofreading, which contains information about the album of tapes from the October meeting; a workshop by David and his partner John McDonald showing how they do these workplace conferences is also in the album.
Things have got to change, and we believe that a new attitude toward human emotion is central to that change. I'm glad you share our enthusiasm for the process.
