    Re:re Observer and the Subconscious Mind

    Niall,

    Not too late at all, for your reply. I tend to place the
    observer mode more in the realm of the subconscious. When
    there is pure observation sans any analysis, I believe
    we are bypassing the conscious mind, in large part. The
    veil between the conscious and subconscious mind is porous,
    though, and it's arguably not possible to designate pure
    observation strictly into either the conscious or subconscious. To the extent ego
    gets out of the way of the observer mode, I believe we move more into the subconscious
    area.
