    Meditation and Serotonin Syndrome
Laszlo Holics · 09/19/03 at 4:25 PM ET

Could somebody write me about the Serotonin Syndrome induced by meditation?

Is there a certain moderate daily amount of meditation that can be considered safe for all mentally healthy people?

For example -- just an EXAMPLE:

"15 minutes of meditation a day is such low extent that it is extremely unlikely to overboost the practitioner's serotonin level, regardless of the individual hormonic makeup of the practitioner. If you want to go for absolute safety, don't exceed this limit."

Is there any chance that such a limit could be stated?
