It's back to the WALL then, with intention !!
Lindsay Smith · 10/03/02 at 7:01 PM ET

"Well, I bet I just posted to Lindsay's "wall"

.. as you wrote in an earlier post Mandala.

Swami Muktananada in the 'Secret of the Sidhhas' 404 on page 191 quotes Vijnana Bhairava [translated] -

"In this way, whenever one concentrates in successive steps on an empty space, a wall, or a noble person, that concentration is absorbed by itself into the Supreme and grants the highest spiritual experience."

Boddhidhamma, Indian Buddhist monk & founder Shaolin Temple Boxing, the 6th patriarch of Buddhism in China faced the wall for 9 years. The monks were weak so taught them 'sinew washing' exercises so that they could maintain fitness & strength for meditation training.

Going to the wall in a capitalist society could well mean that your investments have vapourised.

Going to the wall in Meditation is a personal investment in yourself. It is about the finding place where thoughts & the ego vapourise.
