Mandala, you also asked about what kind of meditation I teach & you mentioned, 'Mindfulness.' My own daily Taijiquan are sessions from 6am every morning & again from 5pm in the evenings. The Taijiquan open hand & sword forms require a high degree of mindfulness in coordinating mind, body & spirit. I teach in the park beside the river with the birds, turtles, rowers & people taking their dogs for a walk as background. Streching, Silk Reeling Exercises, Squats for loosening up & Standing pole, seated & prone practises are also part of the system. When I have time & I do various other meditation practises at home as well. Recently I taught a Hypnotherapy client standing pole qigong & a seated Yoga mediatation practise, 'looking at my inner screen' to do for homework. We have been working on Self-Hypnosis as well. Many people have found that facing the wall works very well for them. The key of course is to keep working at it.
