    Lying
    Suzanne · 4/26/00 at 3:21 am ET

I have a friend whose daughter has just confessed that she lied to her therapist about past traumatic events. It seems that the EMDR has been administered for issues that have not really taken place in her daughter's life at all in the past. The mother is very frightened and upset by this.

What can be done when such an incident as the one described above occurs ??
