No, no Carey, what I said was that what Todd said —essentially that the “mind” can be “extended” beyond the “individual” brain which can transcend “individual reproductive survival”—could be roughly said of termites; and I suspect that JimB would more or less agree. Nevertheless Carey, your point that I can be an asshole may still be valid (assuming you’re using the term in a figurative sense, which you must be since a literal rendition wouldn’t seem to work here). And I’m certain others have occasionally seen me in a similar light, so yes, you’re probably right. However, I suspect that many Darwinians, insisting on a atheistic-mechanistic and purposeless universe POV (who’re usually unable to acknowledge the nasty implications of that POV), contrary to the implications of much physics (real science), may be even bigger ones than I.
