I am afraid that I am new to this however, I am writing as part of my study on "Cultural identity as a healing process in social work practise" taking as a background on the effect of globalisation economically, culturally and politically. By this, I am using as my methodology for the notion of the "self" using gestalt philosophy and one of the criteria as happening with modern society is the use of intelligence as an identity and status among one's peer. I do not have much information on this literally but this is I gathered. I am actually combining "gestalt" and "community development" approach in this study to get as to the idea that identity is one way of one's healing pschologically. I would appreciate if you have information on what on this topic to support some of the idea which Tony Kelly's book on the HEAD, HEART, AND HAND in community development.
