A question please. If the "host" has learned all there is to learn and has accepted what EMDR processing and those within have revealed, then what more is there to learn? I mean, if the "host" now knows and understand why they are dissociative, now accepts what those within have stated, then what does further EMDR sessions have to offer, what is to be gained? As an individual in this situation, I must wonder what more is there? I now know what happen when I was just a child, I now understand why "I" don't have a memory before 16 years old, but I have accepted what those within say. So, if I understand and accept, what more does EMDR have to offer? I won't ever be "normal" and I will always be the product of my past, but now I feel more control, but I also know that I can't "feel" what those within felt and don't necessarily think I want to, nor do I know if it is necessary? Guess my question is what does EMDR have to offer once a DID knows, sees, hears, and to point feels, why they are as they are, what more is there that EMDR can do, or should do? What more is there really?
