Thank you for taking the time to answer me.

Could you please tell me whether trichotillomania is considered self mutilation? If so, could you please tell me what you mean by EMDR being contraindicated without "careful checking." Checking for what?

Is doing EMDR with someone who is only Level I trained problematic? My therapist was recommended to me by an EMDR facilitator (who is also an EMDRIA Approved Consultant) who said the lack of Level II training should not be a problem as the facilitator considers this therapist to be very skilled in general.
