With all due respect, it sounds as if you are using the method without appropriate training. Please contact the EMDR Institute website www.emdr.com or the EMDR International Association www.emdria.org for appropriate training courses. They are given throughout the world.

While RET is extremely useful, you are being needlessly intrusive in the client's process if you immediately begin a reframing after a client's associations.
