"Big bags of felings" is what she said and not "Big Bags of Pain" as you call them. Unfortunately this is not a universal concept and there is no way to know what this person really meant by the comment. I can speculate many definitions but I will refrain from doing so out of courtesy and respect for Martha. Therefore, I do not know how EMDR can treat something when the problem was not adequately defined. Your assumptions may be correct as to what Martha is experiencing but it is in that 1/100 chance that you are wrong that problems can arise. I would rather you not speculate as much and therefore forego that gamble. It just seems more prudent behavior. That is all I have to say about the issue.
