    Change Agents?
    by Ed Riemann, 3/10/97

c.h. How are ya? We are NOT the change agents! Our patients(clients) are the agents of change. We are merely the folks that hang around until our patients are ready to change. You tend to be overly political in your understanding of what we do. No offense intended but think about it. We exist (as therapist) at the behest of our clients and it thus becomes incumbent upon us to get them where they want to go. Of course, unless where they want to go is hurtful of themselves or others..............Ed
