PSYCHOLOGY OF CYBERSPACE

re:adhd: Getting Help in this Forum

Our forum here is devoted to discussions about the psychology of cyberspace, but I understand how this difficult situation is driving you to look for help wherever you think you might find it. It sounds like you need to find a mental health professional who is familiar with ADHD. Look in the phone book. Look on Mental Health Net for information. Talk to friends, relatives, your family doctor. Get recommendations for a psychologist or psychiatrist. Visit a few to see which one might be most helpful for you and your son..... Good luck! I hope things work out OK.

Visitors! Please note that this forum is not devoted to general discussions about mental health - altho the topic of mental health AND CYBERSPACE is fair game. If you post a message looking for help, leave your email address so people with useful information can contact you directly. I will leave your message up for a few days, but then must delete it. This page for this forum is getting quite large, requiring a long download for some people, so I must remove posts that don't directly pertain to our topic.

I may leave up this thread in reaction to the adhd message because some people find it interesting as a example of how people interact in cyberspace.
