Yes, I've seen lots of such requests on old Internet Addiction forum, and on other forums too. Looks like people, who absolutely don't want to search for something by theirselves.
I've searched for "Internet addiction" and related topics on dozens search engines, for long time; I have nice collection of intertesting matherials, but when I see such rude requests, I don'tr want to share anything with these people.
Anybody can go to search engine and find information about that. If I see request which shows that somebody already worked for that by himself - then I can help him and discuss something interesting. But anyway main search person should do by himself, that's my opinion.
By the way, on http://www.onelist.com are some mailing lists dedicated to Internet Addiction. There are also list archives available. Very interesting and useful...
