A Query re Meditation and Mental Illness
Michael ANderson · 11/29/98 at 3:02 PM ET

I am interested in exploring Buddhist approaches to mental illness, ie the use of meditation. I would value a dialogue with people who have suffered from a mental illness ie depression, schizophrenia, manic depression etc who have gained benefits or found meditation harmful. I am currently researching this topic. I would also like to hear from practitioners psychologists psychiatrists or counsellors who have used Buddhist approaches in their therapeutic practice. you can contact me on asport@bigpond.com
