    Re:Holotropic Breathwork v. Rebirthing

I have tried rebirthing at Kripalu, Lenox, MA. It was offered as part of a larger seminar. Therefore, I experienced it in a group setting, but I am certain that you could have an individual session.

There was a coach for about five people whose job it was to coach the breathing part of the exercise. I believe that it's required to be horizontal for the process. There's a special breathing technique involved that hyper-oxygenates your brain. Many people had enlightening and emotional experiences. I didn't because I experienced its side effects. I don't know if I am spelling it correctly, tetany. That is hands, feet and mouth cramp in an odd sort of way. I just found it intolerable. I'd like to try it again.
