Recently a very frustrated depressed 39 year old 'champion horse woman' came to see me for Hypnotherapy. She had had a series of unsatisfactory relationships, an abortion & a miscarriage & was obsessed with the idea if she had a child everything would turn out OK. She wept a lot & was very vigilant the first session so I decided to teach her 'standing pole qigong.' The second session we did 'seated meditation' & finished with 'self-hypnosis' instruction. She agreed to do her homework & asked if she could come & see when she was next in the district. As she lives alone in a rented farm house she will have plenty of time to practise qigong & meditation. If she follows the instructions I wrote on a card for her she will build up her 'internal strength' and self confidence & may be able to benefit from Hypnotherapy in the future.
