    Scizophrenia and meditation
    Erik · 12/27/00 at 6:10 ET

I read somewhere here where meditation can give you a false
sense of reality, this is true! I had no training in it and
tried it on my own and over a very short period developed scizophrenia. I had depression and anxiety before, but after my own meditation I would get horrible visions that tormented me for a long time, however, over time and staying
away from meditation I have been recovering and am actually picking up normal reality, but so far it has taken almost 3 years to recover. If you are going to meditate be careful,
    it can be very damaging!!!!
