    Re: reality & fatalistic pessimism

    Carey: In your atheistic, materialist, mechanistic, universe, assuming one has the integrity and balls not to sugarcoat, “fatalistic pessimism” is unavoidable, inescapable; where Michelangelo’s art has no more intrinsic meaning or value than termite crap cathedrals; and love is merely an algorithm that makes us fuck/propagate. Neither that universe nor its pessimism is my own…unless I happen to be feeling kind of Nietzhe; and/or I’m really, really depressed. But hey, even Jesus had his bad days.
