I’m inclined to agree that any “depression” I personally experience is primarily a result of my own neuro-chemical deficiencies, rather than any pessimism from living in your universe—for all the science and evidence I’m aware of convinces me that your universe, a universe devoid of purpose and/or meaning, isn’t the one we find ourselves in, nor ever could find ourselves in. And actually, the whole Nietzche-ubermensch thing, and/or even a “fatalistic pessimism,” can be bizarrely exhilarating at times, especially if you happen to be an alpha dominating others. And why should you continue to listen to my “stubborn, relentless rant?”—You shouldn’t if that’s all it is.
