I have been using Shrink (from MHS) for almost 10 years. However, it's a DOS version and not Y2K compliant. I ordered Shrink for Windows last fall; it looked good, but printing reports was extremely slow (e.g. 45 minutes to print a two page report). I use a Pentium 200mhz computer with 64MG RAM. I complained to MHS, who said they would be fixing the printing problem. No word yet. I'm also frustrated with MHS' proprietary software that limits one's ability to export the database for manipulation with a better database manager (e.g. Microsoft Access). To use Shrink for Windows' database, I would have to purchase a product called Crystal Reports (software program that runs over $500). I'm frustrated and looking at options. Considering Therapist Helper or Civer-Psych. I would appreciate any comments from those with experience with either product. Thanks.
