    Systems means interconnectedness
    by Phil Mastin, 5/15/98

    Karen,

Systems theory has to do with the interconnectedness of everything from the nations of the world to our own bodies and selves. Systems theory basically states that everything and everybody is affected by all the people and things they come into contact with. Given this understanding, we can effect change in any part of the system and this will in turn effect change throughout the system. I hope this brief explanation sheds some light on this subject for you. If you would like to discuss it further or have any questions I might be able to answer, feel free to e-mail me at .
