I attended Michael Lambert's workshop two APA conferences ago (held in NYC). It was very good, and I highly recommend it. He has done some excellent work in creating a measure for application in clinical practice, and the workshop presents his work, findings and advances to date.
also of great interest are the measurement workshops. One of the very best is presented by Rex Kline, titled: Path Analysis: From the Ground Up. Somehow, Kline delivers his audience beyond the maze of this challenging topic into the relm of concrete, conceptual understanding of a measuremnt option we all need to understand and utilize in situations when the usual experimental/quasi-experimental designs are unattainable. I can't recommend the Kline presentation too highly.
hope everyone enjoys the conference. I will not attend this year, but will make it next year. Perhaps "Designing Effective Outcomes Evaluations" will be presented again then? I hope so.
