Presentation of outcomes work

Though I will not be presenting at APA, I will be presenting at the Fourth Annual Behavioral Healthcare Conference in Orlando, Florida. The dates are: December 4 and 5. The title of the presentation is: Instituting an Outcomes Program in an Adult Residential Setting. In addition to sharing the results of the first and second wave data collection to date (of our longitudinal study on adult psychiatric residential care), it will present the "nuts and bolts of how to begin and set up an outcomes program in a community mental health setting".

There are three other presenters, including: the Residential Division Director whose vision brought about the study; a Program Director of one of the residential sites and a direct care staffer who is the clinical coordinator in the dual dx site, both of whom are participants in the ongoing Leadership Committee of the project.

The intended audience are staffers and administrators who are struggling with how to conceptualize and operationalize an outcomes program, and trying to figure out how it can inform clinical practice.
