It sounds like you want more information on the topic rather than a look at outcome research in the area...And unfortunately I haven't heard of functional communication training before now. It sounds similar to dialectal behavior therapy (Linehan) and most particularly seems similar to the adaptions of DBT that I have heard Charles Swenson present.
