I agree with you both John and Dale. However, what if this person was just kidding around. Playing a game. Just wishing to take up some space or maybe make you think..as it did. Whatever the reason, do not diagnose until we know. The person may very well be a colleague of yours. :-)) Oh the possibilities. He/She is a Psychologist and out for some quick answers regarding a patient and yet wishes to remain anonymous. Maybe he's thought of and respected so highly that asking for anything could very well lower his self worth. Or so he thinks. Oh my. Hmmmmm
