    Thanks for the thoughtful reply...

    You have confirmed me in a number of assumptions: with regard to responsibility/accountability; regarding the inability of a professional to "shed the mantel" and on a few other points that I won't clog this post with.

    I had considered that one way around this would be to offer more clarity about what to expect beforehand.

    Unfortunately the business world seems full of pseudo-scientific assessment centres and other "interventions".

    Thanks for your time and attention in this matter, I have still more work to do with this inside our organisation but you have helped me make a start.

    BTW if the WEbmaster wants to delete my "Details" post for sake of space then that would be fine by me.
