    I just re-read my earlier comments and I think I answered my own question. After I noted that exposure durations were not significnatly different between EMDR and exposure, I made a second comment about needing research to see if it truly is the case that EMDR produces better outcome with less time. I see where the confusion lies. I was anticipating the possible retort that the only reason the difference between EMDR and exposure was not significant was because of low statistical power. Also, I selected the pattern of better results with less exposure in my summary because this pattern would be a more powerful result in refuting the contention that EMDR is just exposure with bells and whistles. Thanks for your participation in this discussion.
