    What is EMDR?

    Can anybody tell me -in short- what EMDR is all about?
    I have been diagnosed with PTSD due to severe emotional - possible sexual- abuse during my childhood. I'm 33 now and have been i in therapy for the last fifteen.

    I read about EMDR at TWHJ.
    Any information hugely appriciated.
