    This forum, as you may have read, is not an appropriate place for case consultations, so I must keep my remarks general. Any therapist preparing to do EMDR with a client with a complex history of childhood trauma and possible amnesia should know the full screening and protocol for such cases. If those precautions are taken, EMDR may be very helpful.
