Thank you, Sandra. My friend has managed to "tuck in" the parts for the moment. Now there's just two weeks to go...

I appreciate your posting the general reminders re: dissociation and emdr and prepatory work once again. I had urged my friend to read your article and to give it to her therapist... she didn't and the therapist seems to have been oblivious to the possible dangers.

The basic foundation of therapy is safety... Premature emdr not done in accordance with established protocols is dangerous.
