    I haven't seen the article, just the abstract, but I note that the attrition rate is greater for the E&CR group than for EMDR> That's my experience clinically, and that of other EMDR clinicians. Clients generally find EMDR more tolerable than exposure therapy.

    I used to do exposure therapy and it was arduous and tortured. EMDR goes down easier, and so I prefer it.
