I do have a personal interest in this as well, just to be open about my motivation for seeking information. However, I've been reading online for weeks and I feel that I'm not really getting anywhere. I know EMDR can be used for a variety of situations. That it is particularly helpful for treating trauma. Can EMDR be used by a practitioner to access the emotions/feelings/experiences of medical trauma from the preverbal (under one year) time of life? If not EMDR, what else might one try? I've read some information on hypnotherapy, but as I understand that, some of what is experienced can be subjective. As a future therapist, I have an interest in resolving this area of my life, as well as learning more about different modes of therapy prior to starting my training. Thank you,
Marie
