Re: EMDR research ?

Does anyone ever qualify the practitioner that gives the EMDR in these research studies? Do they bring in experienced EMDR practitioners, or does one of the "reasearch scientists" give the session reading from a "how to" book? ...and is he/she interested in conducting the session to achieve positive results?

I once had a trigonometry instructor in college who was assigned my class after the semester started. He was all that was available. He professed that he had no use for trigonometry, but that we would do "the best that we can." "WE" didn't do very well.
