I think the two are compatible, especially if there is one person doing the EMDR and another person doing the DBT. Both a processing/past emphasis and a skills/here and now emphasis are necessary for many people. EMDR doesn't do everything. Having two separate therapists doing the two pieces of work will help the client be clear about which frame of referehce s/he is in. Other peoples' thoughts?
