Brian- I'm confused about something. You've quoted Rosen's abstract suggesting that Shapiro dismisses negative results by questioning how well the treatment was done. But isn't that what you did yourself at the very beginning of this discussion thread? By stating that "most therapists who say they are doing CBT are only giving it lip service", you seem to be saying that if someone isn't getting the results you expect with this method that it may be because the therapist wasn't doing it right. In other words, you seem to have done the very thing that Rosen was objecting to. Please clarify.
